Dragon vs. Trinst

Have you ever seen a dragon raid?

Imagine a dragon, bristling with red and gold scales, wearing an impish grin as he storms the city's outermost gate. Not a pretty picture. Vaeikdwar, a halfling in dragonform, gnawed on guards like a dog would chow down on food. The dragon's trunk-like tail wagged in the air as its head burrowed within the gate's arch. The great maw, filled with spears of teeth, made grunting noises that sounded eerily like bellows of laughter.

The adventurers surrounding the gate stood far back and clung to the darkened hillside watching the slaughter. As the sky darkened and the air filled with smoke and brimstone, the dragon seemed to romp and dance with glee. As the dragon lifted its great head, blood dripping from glistening jaw, the almost playful expression upon its draconic face belied the unfolding horror. Yet, I didn't know whether to be terrified or to laugh.

With a roar of laughter, the great dragon soared into the sky.
