Journey through the Desert and Mountains

I made a few friends this evening. Saelwyn and I had a girlie party down in the sewers, met a nice adventurer named Nubris, and got to have a few more adventures with my other guildmates Belkar and Duex. Sage came by with a meat delivery from the Tahrim hills, and I gave him my meager collection of Rabid Slime and Bone Marrow. When Saelwyn went to camp, I got a message from my friend, Tekthief, asking me to join him in the desert for a "level rush".

I died in the desert once, and was a little afraid, but tonight I ventured forth a little bit stronger and wiser. I ported to the Desert of Mohrim and met up with Tekthief and Zogg. Tekthief is a friend I met the other week who has helped me train at Sholin. I arrived at the stones in the midst of a biting sand storm. We huddled behind the rocks and rided out the worst of it.

Once the air and sky cleared, we travelled to a vendor camp to speak to a woman about a key. We then travelled to the Pharaoh's tomb and fought all kinds of undead, both strong and merciless. There, in the bowls of the pyramid, waited a gargantuan snake. It watched us with merciless eyes, coiled like a spiraled tower. Our small party dared not go forth.

In the end, our quick feet and traveller's hunger led us to Mt. Zharim where we seen some 86th level Philosophers. I cast "Ghostly Melody" and we ran unseen through the sparce forest; moving past giants, bears, and spiders to finally stop before a windswept mountainside. There stood rock and mud golems, and we watched with wide eyes as Tekthief fought the clambering constructs. With a few bursts of lightning, Zogg passed away... I later died and was resurrected, thanks to the noble Tekthief. It was because of this day's adventures that I leveled on all three classes. A momentous occasion.
