To The Talrim Hills

Sweeping hills blanketed in a cape of green and crowned with a large manor overlooking a virtually tree-less land... that is the Talrim Hills.

The gruff but friendly dwarf, Derenule Ironbeard, implored me to join him for a hunt of hill giants. So I portaled to him and arrived in a beautiful land filled with deadly creatures. Even the lowliest spiders gave me pause. Yet, the stalwart and honorable dwarf stood by my side as we journeyed swiftly throughly the undulating landscape.

It never ceases to amaze me how beautiful and terrifying new lands can be. The land quakes with roaming giants and trolls can be found hidden in the shadows of a hillside, yet this jewel of a province, which borders the an ancient Elven Forest, is a goldmine for gear. It was here that my noble guildmate presented me with magical armor that far surpassed my previous Apprentice Bison Set.

Though my sometimes grumpy friend can be a little rough around the edges, I never once forgot how he has helped me to grow and learn my way around the World of Mirth. In many ways, he is like an uncle or a mentor.
