New Guild and Sewers

First Entry. It was a night of partying in the Trist sewers. Duex and I met a few new people tonight and had a great time. Derenule invited me to join a new guild... though I was already with the Rangers of the North, Derenule is a dear friend so Duex and I joined Guild Freedom.

We met Big V (in dragonform no less) and headed down to the sewers. Duex got to have a nice set of armor off of Rhathro, while I kinda poked around outside. I did end up dying because I trained my own mob onto me. I didn't know how to enter Rhathro's chamber and ran straight into the door. There, I was pummelled by 6 Crimson Guards, 3 Horrific Constructs, and countless Skeletons. It was slaughter. With the key in my back pocket, I died.

I don't know how many times I had to portal out and run back in, but at last count, it was about 6.

In the meantime, Maerghrain passed out coffee for all the late-nighters... and we had a really heated chat on OT. I also saw one of my former guild brothers, Stanwick. He's a really cool guy. He helped train me at Sholin the other day, and I got the quest item from the Goblin Emissary. Anyways, it was great talking to him, and I'm thinking of adding him to my friend list.

Duex also met another great guy in the sewers: Pinky. He's a monk/cleric/(ranger?). He partied with us and we faught crocs, wardens, and even the giant rat Willard.

Belkar, whose arm I have a fondness for, gave me my Serpent Chant scroll for Bard. Can you believe I'm a level 18 bard and didn't pickup my scrolls? I missed about 4 or 5... so when I went to the bard trainer, there was a bunch I could up my buffs on. It really came in handy down in the sewers.
